- What inspired you to start Bravo’s?
- After doing my training with another company, I decided it was time to go out on my own and created Bravo’s.
- What do you enjoy most about teaching people to drive?
- Watching pupils succeed and seeing their time, effort and determination pay off — not just passing their test, but becoming confident, safe drivers on the road.
- How do you hope pupils feel during their lessons?
- I hope they feel safe. As an experienced driver and instructor, I can step in quickly when appropriate, and I want them to know I’ll do my best to keep them safe.
- What’s your best tip for learner drivers?
- Try not to get overwhelmed. Take one turn, one road and one situation at a time. Focus on the next thing you’re asked to do — the next road or junction — and confidence and consistency will come.
- What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
- Spending time with my family, enjoying days away, going to the golf range and taking family holidays.

- What do you enjoy most about supporting Bravo’s pupils and team?
- I enjoy seeing pupils through their journey from their first lesson to their test, and seeing the instructors beaming with pride for each pupil. Although I’m not instructing them myself, I love seeing them do well with us!
- What do you hope pupils experience when they contact Bravo’s?
- An easy, personal customer service experience. Every individual is different, and I try to cater to that. I want pupils to know they’re not just another number to us.
- What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
- Spending time with family, including looking after my one-year-old grandson while his mum and dad are at work.
- Can you share a fun fact about yourself?
- I only passed my driving test in 2018, at 42 years old. I spent most of my adult life not knowing how to drive, and now it’s a major part of my life.
- What’s one thing you’d like pupils to know about the admin side of Bravo’s?
- I love what I do and supporting pupils outside the driver’s seat. I’m rooting for every pupil and their success, just from behind a screen. ❤️

- What do you enjoy most about teaching people to drive?
- Watching pupils’ confidence grow each week as their skills develop.
- How do you hope pupils feel during their lessons?
- I want pupils to feel that my car is a safe place. They don’t need to be scared to make mistakes, because they know I’ll help them learn from them.
- What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
- I’m often going on long drives to visit family and friends who live far away. Or you might find me behind a camera, taking photographs in nature.
- Can you share a fun fact about yourself?
- My first car was a very unreliable Fiat 126 that was older than me. It had its engine in the back, which often needed a poke from a walking stick to get it started. My best friend had the same, equally unreliable car, and I would often have to rescue her with my walking stick!
- What’s your advice to learner drivers?
- Don’t compare your learning journey to anyone else’s. The goal isn’t to pass your test more quickly than your friend, but to know that when you’re driving on your own, you can keep yourself and those around you safe.

No. Passing matters, but the objective is to develop a safe driver who can make sound decisions independently after the test as well.
